After 12 albums you could rightfully assume that Sodom had nowhere left to go, you'd be dead wrong. While this album focusues on their recurrent theme of war and death, the Teutonic trio seem rejuvenated here, totally refocused and completely void of mercy. There is no denying that this is an imposing album and listening to this feels like you've gone to war only to be blown to pieces with minutes of reaching enemy lines. Sodom's relentless, pummelling assault never diminishes as the band charge, fists clenched, from one war-torn track to another; exhausting yet brilliant.
