10 Greatest Pop-Punk Albums Of All Time

1. Green Day: Dookie

Come on, you had to know this was going to be it. While some would argue that "American Idiot" is the strongest effort by Green Day, there's no denying that "Dookie" is the single most important pop-punk album of all time.

Coming out at a time when pop-punk was still in its infancy, Green Day released "Dookie", an album that was unafraid to blend pop melodies with the fast, angry sound of punk music. Lyrically, the entire album sounds like a coming of age story, making it relatable to almost anyone, dealing with broad topics such as; anxiety, boredom, weed, breakups and simply being angry.

Regardless of whether or not you like pop-punk music, there's a good chance you know or like at least one song from "Dookie", and that's a testament to how huge this record has become. Truly this is, the greatest pop-punk album of all time.
