The song that's been used to boot drunk students out of nightclubs for 25 years, "Don't Look Back Anger" is one of best Britpop anthems of all time.

Taken from Oasis' monster hit (What's The Story) Morning Glory?, this was the second of the group's singles to reach the top spot in the UK after "Some Might Say", which, for the record, is also a banger.

"Don't Look Back..." is a stonewall classic . From the instantly-recognisable opening piano chords to its uplifting sing-a-long chorus, every part of this song hits the spot and its no surprise that its become one of the most popular British tracks of the last thirty years.

The song has also become synonymous with good will and charity, as demonstrated when it became the anthem of love and support for the victims of the Manchester Arena Bombing in 2017.

Oasis were formed in Manchester, so it was very apt that one of their most popular tracks became a beacon of hope for their city in one of its most troubled times.

Yes, it's become a cliche, but, as with most cliches, there is so much greatness hidden in "Don't Look Back In Anger" and that should not be forgotten.
