10 Guilty Pleasure Albums Nobody Will Admit That They Love
5. Taylor Swift 1989
Look, I have a perfectly reasonable explanation for why I have a subscription to both Spotify and Apple Music. Honestly. I just don't feel like explaining it. 2014's 1989 cemented Taylor Swift's transition to pop superstar, with songs like Shake It Off, Blank Space and Bad Blood dominating radios around the world. Despite the notion that all Swift writes about is her ex-boyfriends, 1989 shows off a diverse range of songs and instrumentation, but most importantly it's filled with stupidly catchy songs. Like so many pop stars, Taylor Swift is (wrongly) very much considered a musician only women can like, but there's no denying 1989 appeals to everybody, even if not everybody can admit it.
