10 Hard Rock Bands That Insulted Their Own Fans
1. Dave Grohl - Foo Fighters
It doesn't take much to send some rockstars off. Whether it's wearing a T-shirt that they don't like or heckling them from the crowd, some of rock's premiere performers have been known to fly off the rails more than a few times. That being said, you'd have to be going the extra mile to get a rise out of Dave Grohl during a show.
Over the years, Grohl has become known as one of the nicest guys in rock and roll, but he had some very unkind things to say to a fan at one of their performances in the late 2000's. As the band started the acoustic segment of their show, Grohl brought everything to a halt in the middle of the song "Skin and Bones" after seeing someone fighting in the crowd.
After he stopped playing, Grohl tears this guy to shreds, as he berates him like a child and demands that he get out of the show, proudly proclaiming "You don't come to my show and fight, you come to my show and dance." Proudly looking after the safety of his shows, it's almost a special talent that Grohl has that even when he tears an audience into a member of the audience, he still ends up coming off as the better person.
