10. Maroon 5 feat Christina Aguilera - Moves like Jagger
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iEPTlhBmwRg&feature=kp So kicking off the countdown is the monstrously catchy track from Maroon 5 with its whistly earworm hook that became one of the hottest summer tracks of 2011. Maroon 5 have always been a band that couldn't quite make up their minds with what kind of sound they like to emit but 'Moves like Jagger' was the surprise funk-rock track that thrust them back into pop-stardom. The boys had further success with their chart-topping tune 'Payphone' and well-received 'One More Night'. But if you asked the average radio listener what song is Maroon 5's most commercial then 'Moves like Jagger' would win every time. With lyrics like "take my by the tongue and I'll own you" making playful references to the Rolling Stones iconic tongue and lip design. This was a song that was completely full of itself even frontman Adam Levine said so with "my ego is big, I don't give a s**t". Thanks to its cool blend of 70's vibes mixed in with a hip swinging dance beats this was something a little more daring and far more fresh. Sadly though, despite Levine's sexual swagger Jagger and Aguilera's throaty chemistry this song only ever made it to number 2. But don't feel too bad for them, they did manage to spend a consecutive 52 weeks in the top 40.
