10 Incredible Animated Music Videos

7. Dire Straits - "Money For Nothing"

Back to the 80's we go with a video praised for its groundbreaking computer graphics.

We watch as a crudely animated man and his dog watch MTV and as the iconic guitar riff kicks in, we're pulled into the band performing on stage with animated effects added to their instruments.

Inspired by singer/guitarist Mark Knopfler's experience inside an electronics store, back in the computer animated world of the video we see a man working in a store, disgusted by what he sees on the wall of TVs.

"Money for Nothing" was awarded "Video of the Year" at the 1986 MTV Music Video Awards.

**Bonus Trivia: That's Sting singing "I want my MTV" in his famous falsetto.**
