10 MORE Albums From Famous Artists NOT On Streaming Services
8. Zeitgeist - The Smashing Pumpkins
In addition to Billy Corgan’s debut solo album TheFutureEmbrace being unavailable to stream, there are also releases by The Smashing Pumpkins not on streaming services.
One of these is their seventh album Zeitgeist. The first album since their break-up in 2000, Zeitgeist received mixed critical and commercial success. The album lacked appearances from Melissa Auf der Maur and co-founder James Iha.
The album couldn’t score a national Top 40 hit outside of Denmark, and is regarded as a blip on an otherwise stellar discography. Tracks from the album are not played on tour these days, evidence that ironically the album isn't even remembered as a cultural zeitgeist.
The album was distributed by Reprise, but The Smashing Pumpkins have since moved on to Napalm Records. Other Reprise released projects are on streaming services, but Zeitgeist remains stranded on CD.
