Iggy Pop came back into the limelight in full force towards the end of the 1990s with the release of Trainspotting, which featured one of his best songs of all time, Lust For Life, a song he co-wrote with fellow drug addicted star David Bowie. Iggy Pop, like David Bowie, was a casualty of the 1970s drug-addled music scene in the UK and struggled with addiction throughout the decade. This wild and erratic behaviour manifested itself on stage in a number of ways, with Pop becoming notorious for vomiting on stage, exposing himself to the crowd and rolling around in broken glass. Pop joined Bowie in Berlin in the late 70s to try and wean himself off drugs - more recently he's reformed The Stooges and gone on tour, continuing to stage dive - an act he "invented" back in the 60s - to this day.
