10 Most Embarrassing Onstage Moments In Rock

9. Tom Delonge's Faulty Guitar

Whenever you step up to the microphone, you always try to make sure that you've practiced your ass off on whatever song you're playing. Hell, even giants like Eddie Van Halen were still known to have stage fright every now and again before actually blowing minds of fans around the world. That's just personal nerves though...equipment is a completely different animal.

Granted, it's not like the Blink-182 reunion tour was the most free flowing of tours in rock history, with Tom DeLonge being on a different creative wavelength than the rest of the band. When it came time to actually play the hits though, DeLonge's guitar crapped out just as he was beginning to play the opening notes of the Rock Show. After a bit of stage banter, DeLonge quickly realizes that his guitar is broken, after which someone quickly comes behind him to make sure everything was plugged in correctly.

This one is worth watching at the very least to see Tom's reaction, going from the most panicked you could ever be in a stage scenario to eventually breathing a huge sigh of relief when he finally hears his guitar back in full force again. For as much as Blink were trying to hold it together, sometimes you just can't get past when your gear just decides to stop working.
