4. The XCERTS - Hold On To Your Heart

For fans of Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers, The XCERTS are arguably one of Britain’s most underrated soft rock acts at present. The XCERTS have been a slowly growing force in the soft rock scene since their debut album in 2009, but it wasn’t until almost a decade later that they would unlock their full potential.

2018’s ‘Hold On To Your Heart’ is the band’s fourth studio album and is unquestionably one of the year’s most overlooked rock records. The overall vibe of this album was extremely laid back and approachable, making each song a genuine treat to witness. Key songs however included the title-track, 'Daydream', and the single, 'Feels Like Falling in Love', which are all worthy representatives for this amazing record.

Since this album, The XCERTS have released one EP titled 'Wildheart Dreaming' and also supportted Biffy Clyro on their 2019 UK tour.
