10 Most Underrated Rock & Metal Albums Of The 2010s

3. H.E.A.T - Tearing Down The Walls

An unfortunate side effect of the music industry being so densely populated nowadays, is that some incredible talents sadly get overlooked. Sweden’s H.E.A.T are certainly one of these bands, and 2014’s ‘Tearing Down the Walls’ had all the tools to be an instant classic rock hit. But, for some reason it never really happened.

The critics who got hold of this album praised it immensely, hailing it as one of the best records of the year. Powerplay Rock & Metal magazine even went as far as to name this the best album of the decade ahead of names such as Tool, Iron Maiden, W.A.S.P and Megadeth (to name but a few).

H.E.A.T’s fame at the time peaked with a European and UK tour and second stage appearance at Download Festival in 2015. H.E.A.T have released two albums since this record with the latest being 2020’s ‘H.E.A.T II’. H.E.A.T are still going strong and touring prolifically but, ‘Tearing Down the Walls’ remains one of Swedish rock's best kept secrets.
