10 Most Volatile & Aggressive Prodigy Songs

1. Firestarter

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wmin5WkOuPw Not many dance songs from the 90's still sound as timeless now as they did back then but the number one, breakthrough smash hit 'Firestarter' by The Prodigy is an exception. From the first note to the last, this unhinged titan proceeds to bombard the listener with big beats and siren like sound manipulations in a way that only The Prodigy can do. Flint also takes the song up a notch thanks to his downright raw and snotty vocals further adding another layer onto this violent masterpiece. As with 'Breathe' it is the subtle, almost subliminal moments of the track that really exhibit the immense attention to detail that help to flesh the track out and hook the listener into its volatile grasp. The spliced vocal samples sound demonic as does the constant, underlying guitar riff that permeates this unstable cracker. The song transports the listener into another time and space entirely, fulfilling the initial goal of electronic music down to a science. If this fiery 90's classic doesn't get you pumped up then you might want to check your pulse because it still stands as one of the most fierce songs of all time not just in the genre of dance but in music as a whole.
