10 Music Autobiographies We Would Love To Read

6. Jack White

It is certainly rare to come across an individual in the twenty-first century who still manages to command a level of mystery. It has become common place for musicians to share with us their every thought and waking breath, tweet about their present location and Instagram their last meal.

This is why it is so refreshing to find someone like Jack White arguably doing things €˜the old fashioned way€™, i.e. getting on with being an awesome musician and sacking off the superficial side of celebrity culture. Contradicting myself I may be by including Jack White in this list whilst praising his vow for privacy, one cannot deny that getting into the mind of one of today€™s greatest, most versatile and affluent musicians would be something of an eye-opener.

The self-professed workaholic isn€™t happy unless he has several bands or side projects on the go, and his list of collaborations is impressive to say the least. Wouldn€™t it be fantastic to see beyond the shroud of mystery on his own terms? And if he so desired to disclose the real story when it comes to his and Meg€™s relationship, I€™m all ears.
