It's an unusual person who can say that drumming for an internationally successful rock group is only a small part of their professional life. But since the group took their first hiatus in 2003, Dave Rowntree has really branched out. He owns an animation company called Nanomation. He hosts a Sunday night radio program. He's a political activist and Labor Party chairman. And, since 2012, he's worked full time as a solicitor for a major London firm. Oh and he's still drumming for Blur, which is quite the well-paying hobby.
