10 Must-Have Albums

1. Love is a Four Letter Word - Jason Mraz

If I can be brutally honest for a moment, I need to admit that I am madly in love with Jason Mraz. So much, in fact, that one of my tattoos is an exact copy of one of his. Yes, that much in love. That being said, it was no surprise that I was beyond excited for Mraz's release of his most recent album Love Is A Four Letter Word earlier this year. I had been anticipating it for years, and was practically ripping my hair out waiting. The album blew me away. Mraz's maturity shines brightly in this album. His inner-hippie radiates, as he makes it obvious that he intended to step away from his pop-driven style that got him famous in the first place. Even his radio hits 'I Won't Give Up,' '93 Million Miles' and 'The World As I See It' are phenomenal works of art. The album in its entirety blows away almost anything Mraz had recorded previously - with a few exceptions. That is not to say that his previous records (Waiting for My Rocket to Come, Mr. A-Z, and We Sing. We Dance. We Steal Things) weren't incredible - they were. But they did not have the same feeling of passion, growth, and enlightenment that Mraz's most recent has. Virtually everything about Love Is A Four Letter Word is worth acknowledging. From the beautiful harmonies to the introverted lyrics, and the incredible music collaborations to the flawless vocals. Mraz makes more than music - he makes love. Check out one of my personal favourites, 'Living In The Moment' by Jason Mraz off his album Love Is A Four Letter Word http://youtu.be/YUFs_1vKYlY There you have it, folks. Ten must-have albums. Stay tuned for more lists - don't think these are the only 10 albums you have to have! I've got plenty more where these came from. Let me know your feedback in the comments below.
