3. Elephants Them Crooked Vultures
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GZat5RwOHYc After working with Queens Of The Stone Age, Grohl and Homme still wanted to work together, so they formed the band Them Crooked Vultures with former Led Zeppelin member, John Paul Jones. The band formed in 2009 and so far, they have only released the one, self-titled, album. Although it wasnt released as a single, Elephants has got to be the best Them Crooked Vultures song. It may not be the most complex song for drummer Grohl, but its punchy and it definitely has character. The song changes rapidly throughout; going from fast-paced and full of attitude, to a much softer and melodic sound in a matter of seconds. It may be a long song but this just ensures that your ears will never get bored. So far, the band has only released one album but there is talk of another.
