The end of the '90s really marked the end of an era for Oasis' career. Since they had already lost the momentum that they had off the back of the Be Here Now tour, they also had to deal with treading water after losing Bonehead and Guigsy in the early '00s. It was already a tough sell to get back in the good graces of the fans after Be Here Now, but they actually managed to give it a fair shot on Standing on the Shoulder of Giants.

With their glory period in the rearview, you'd have to wonder if Noel was thinking about if his time in the spotlight was starting to run short.
