10 Perfect Rap Rock Albums With No Bad Songs

8. Demon Days - Gorrilaz (2005)

So, this might not strictly be a rap rock album, but who likes their music sticking to confined genre boundaries anyway? The guest appearances on this album read like a list of hip hop royalty, with: MF Doom, Bootie Brown, and the boys from De La Soul, for a start.

Releasing a trip hop record, that incorporated elements of alt rock, rap and electronica, was the last thing people expected from the reining king of Brit-pop, Damon Albarn. The second record from the Gorrilaz was one of the more unique genre blending bodies of work of the 2000s. Kids With Guns, was a tripped out, guitar led, new wave jam, that lent on a relaxed hip hop beat. Dirty Harry, was a modern take on old school hip hop rhythms, which featured the rap stylings of Bootie Brown. And, the hypnotic dance beat on Feel Good Inc. was elevated by versus from De La Soul.

Living up to his mysterious legend, the late MF Doom made an (originally uncredited) appearance on November Has Come. And we haven't even got round to talking about Shaun Ryder on Dare... , lets just say this album is saturated with unrelenting good vibes.
