10 Pop-Punk Bands Whose Second Album Was Better Than Their First

6. Set It Off

With three EPs under their belts before even releasing their first album, Cinematics, Set It Off were a band with more experience than most by the time that dreaded second release came around.

While Cinematics had a very admirable philanthropic cause, helping the band raise money for VH1's Save the Music Foundation, they rocketed into the limelight for their second outing.

Touring with Black Veil Brides and being featured on the Punk Goes... compilations saw Set It Off opened up to a whole new world of fans, before breakout single Ancient History had a video featuring actress Chelsea Mee.

Also featuring hit songs NMW and Wolf In Sheep's Clothing, Duality remains one of Set It Off's strongest albums - although successor Upside Down doubled its first week sales before band signed with Fearless Records.
