10 Popular Artists You Didn't Know Released Music In 2019
3. Iggy Azalea
Okay, hands up if you thought her career was over already? Releasing five years since her non-prophetic debut album The New Classic, Iggy’s sophomore In My Defense could only muster number 50 on the US album charts.
Not faring any better in her native Australia hitting number 52, Iggy might have to go back to the drawing board once again if she is lucky enough to have a third album.
Not even ripping off Salt-N-Pepa’s Push It on Just Wanna can save this album. In My Defense sounds more like a comedy rap album than a serious one.
It is incredible to see how her Fancy co-star Charli XCX is faring as a critical and commercial darling these days as opposed to Iggy’s unevolved, primitive rap racket. Avoid.
