10 Popular Songs That Are Actually Terrible

7. John Cena & Tha Trademarc - The Time Is Now

Yep, there's an actual song to go with 'DO DODO DOOOO'.

Written in 2005, the pop rap anthem of the memeverse (if it wasn't called that before, I demand it is now) has been the 16-time World Champion's entrance music ever since, helping to craft his in-ring character from a street rapper thug, to the Super Cena we all know and love today.

The lead single from the gift-that-keeps-on-giving debut album You Can't See Me by Cena and his cousin, the aforementioned Tha Trademarc, the song has become synonymous with modern day WWE, much in the same way the entrance music of Hulk Hogan and Stone Cold Steve Austin had before it.

The whole thing couldn't be more cheese unless the opening scream thing said "RRRRRR-HALLOUMI" (although the song actually says "RRRRRR- AMADOU!" apparently. The more you know). Made when WWE started tapping into the commercial oil well that was John Cena, the track helped shift the album (to which your truly bought into) and with it being performed by the man himself, it meant WWE obviously got him to sing it live during his feud with Chris Jericho, to the adulation of everyone under the age of 14.
