10 Punk Bands That Released 5 Great Albums In A Row

3. The Bronx

There’s something pretty damn special about being a band with only five records and all of them being stone-cold killers, but that’s The Bronx for you. A hardcore punk outfit so impressive live that they had no trouble entering into the big leagues, this band have kept things pretty simple during their career by writing good. punk. music.

With five self-titled albums, the brilliant run by The Bronx looks like: The Bronx (2003), The Bronx (2006), The Bronx (2008), The Bronx (2013) and V (2017) with the band also whetting their appetite by playing in their side project Mariachi El Bronx through it all.

It’s not always been smooth sailing for The Bronx and some of their records reflect that, but they’re also super consistent with bringing massive hardcore bangers to the table. Whether it’s Knifeman on The Bronx III or Heart Attack American on The Bronx I, the band are the kind of catchy that makes them a magnet for all sorts of music fans. The Bronx’s live shows are legendary, but that’s because there’s no way to play these songs that isn’t loud, reckless and heavy.
