10 Punk, Rock And Metal Bands You Need To Hear Right Now

3. Never Not Nothing (formerly Black Futures)

In 2018, a mysterious two-piece by the name of Black Futures unleashed their debut record "Never Not Nothing", an album filled to bursting point with electro-punk bangers. Upon listening it'll scream, shudder and screech its way under your skin whether you like it or not.

Just to confuse things, the band recently changed their name from Black Futures to Never Not Nothing, but in all honesty, it actually suits their slogan better... Never Not A Band. Never Not Punk. Never Not Nothing.

Being a punk two-piece it's easy to draw comparisons with the likes of Death From Above 1979 but their songs regularly have more in common with the likes of The Prodigy, Chemical Brothers or more avant-garde outfits like Young Fathers.

Never Not Nothing are an impressive live act too, and for just a drummer and a guy on bass/synth, they make one hell of a racket, somehow managing to replicate the explosive power and intensity of songs like "Body & Soul" in a live environment.
