10 Reasons BROCKHAMPTON Are The Future Of Music

2. They Continue To Innovate

Iridescene Album Art

One of the biggest issues for contemporary artists is to consistently innovate. Once an artist finds a successful style, they will likely drag that style into the ground album after album. Brockhampton are not only able to innovate from album to album, but from song to song.

Even within their albums, each main single and album track is something entirely new. The first single of Saturation 1, HEAT, is a head banging ode to gangster rap whereas the next single GOLD was more reminiscent of the bling era. Both of these are absolutely nothing like FACE, the third single which is a slow love ballad.

None of these songs can even compare to SWEET from Saturation 2 or BOOGIE from Saturation 3. The insane variety from the group allows each song to be entirely unique and provide a different experience. This was epitomised by their late night TV debut on Jimmy Fallon, where they debuted their song TONYA. This was completely unexpected from the group and after a long absence of music, proved that Brockhampton will continue to innovate into the future.
