Indeed, I Gotta Feeling is a celebratory song for an incredibly simplistic time i.e. going out on a night out. And thats it. This huge song has racked up 155 million hits on YouTube and 15 million copies of digital sales, being the highest-ranking song of all time for the latter. The tune was played so much in 2009 that it still feels like it came out last year whenever it drops in a club. Its warm reception flowed right through the album it came from, and continues to be a stalwart on many getting ready playlists for many more nights out.
