10 Terrible Songs By Perfect Rock Bands

9. Little By Little - Radiohead

For most Radiohead fans, there are great Radiohead albums and Radiohead albums that just have some rough edges. Even though Pablo Honey may have been a little too indebted to the kind of grunge rock that was popular at the time, it still had some highlights like Creep that seem to have lasted. As for the King of Limbs, this is where things start to get just a little bit spotty.

While there are some good ideas on Radiohead’s 8th record, Little by Little is a good indicator of everything that’s wrong with the album in concept. The idea of mixing the art rock aesthetic with loops sounds like a great idea in theory, but this is where we hit a brick wall, as both genres clash into each other and sound a lot more robotic than they intended.

As much as Lotus Flower and Codex may have had a decent balance of every style, you can hear the band struggle to find their groove on this song, with Thom Yorke sounding lost half the time. If you’re going to incorporate something as strange as loops, you have to commit to the gimmick 100% before you end up with this.
