Born on 8th October, 1985 in Honolulu, Hawaii, Bruno Mars is one of the biggest and best-selling male vocalists of modern times. The multi-talented singer songwriter is known for his vocal, paino, drum and guitar work and his lively showmanship,inspired by masters like Michael Jackson, Elvis Presley and a high energy similar to James Brown. At the age of 29, he has currently been nominated for 13 Grammy's, winning two and in 2011 he made the prestigious TIME 100 list by TIME Magazine. Not only a talent singer/songwriter, Mars also turned his attention to launching the Selvarey Rum brand, which includes white and cocoa rums. Mars would hit the big time early in his life with his first album Doo Wops and Hooligans in 2010, where the lead single 'Just The Way You Are' would reach number 1 in the Billboard Hot 100 chart. He would continue his success with songs like 'Grenade' and 'The Lazy Song' until the release of his second album Unorthodox Jukebox, where his success would continue.
