10 Things You Didn't Know About Kanye West

5. He's Recorded Some Songs With Jack White But Hasn't Released Them (Yet)

For the creation and production of Yeezus, Kanye called in almost his entire musical circle to help make it one of the greatest albums of the last few years, but one collaborator who's work didn't quite make the final cut was former White Stripes frontman Jack White. An odd connection perhaps, but White is actually as massive Kanye West fan, has covered Black Skinhead at his gigs, and referred to Kanye's most recent live tour as "the greatest show I've seen in my life". West approached White as the album was beginning production and asked him to send over some ideas. White, who incidentally was in the process of working on some other tracks with Jay-Z at time, sent over a few things he thought might be suitable for album. The story goes that West loved the material he'd been sent over and began working with it immediately, however the development of Yeezus quickly took different directions with Daft Punk onboard and, much to White's dismay, his work is still sitting on a hard drive somewhere waiting to be finished.
