2. Take My Hand - Matt Berry
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rZIHqYotZ6M Most people will know Matt Berry from his role in The IT Crowd as Douglas Renholm, the crazy CEO with a penchant for electric sex pants. More recently starring in Toast of London (if you haven't seen it watch it) he showcases his musical ability by performing a song related to the narrative of each episode. He may have great pipes for voice overs and spot on comedic timing but fewer know that he is also a credible musician. 'Take My Hand' serves as the theme to Toast of London and follows a simple piano riff which plays throughout. It's a song about romance, but one that is rather innocent in terms of subject matter it's about wanting to get to know someone better. This is a great song to chill out to over these chilly months, just grab some sort of hot drink and take it all in. The rest of his music takes a more folky approach, this is the closest to a straight single track you'll find in his material but I'd highly recommend fans of the genre give him a listen.
