Around the time that bands were coming under fire for what seemed to be praising demons, Prince was being dragged through the mud for a very different reason. Here we have the sound of what appears to be a man giving a real sermon for Christianity, almost like the kind of thing that you would hear if a Jehovah's Witness came to your door. If nothing else, is there some kind of message to be found in having a backwards message like this? Like, would the opposite of this sleazy piece of rock and roll be having a born again conversion? If so, Prince has practically created an institution of rock and roll religion.
