Long before streaming services or even digital downloads became available, Zaireeka's presentation on CD came with 4 different discs. For your average fan, it just seemed like the band were taking on a quadruple record, but this was actually one flowing album available across 4 discs.

You could listen to them one at a time, but to get the full experience of the album, you would need to have 4 different CD players playing each disc at the exact same time. It may have been way too complicated for some fans to digest, but once you sit down and listen to Zaireeka in full, it's an enjoyable Lips record from back to front. Some may have seen it as pretentious, but this new way of listening to music was still a novel concept for its time.
