Bowie's twenty-fifth studio album (holy crap) Blackstar is set to release on the 8th January 2016, on the musician's sixty-ninth birthday. The ten-minute long video for Blackstar, however, released in November 2015 to immense critical acclaim. Trying to explain the video at any length would take a very long time, and slightly diminish its utter bizarreness, so I'd recommend just watching it blind. In short, it appears to be documenting some sort of occult ritual, complete with jewelled skull and crucified scarecrows. It also features the unforgettable image of Bowie with a piece of cloth tied around his face, decked out with button eyes.
