9. Incendia Music And Earache Records Release Free Compilation Albums For Christmas
If you don't like getting free stuff, what is wrong with you?
If you do like getting free stuff, this has been your week! Because not only have Earache Records (the home of such heavy acts as Vektor, Savage Messiah and Tim Commerford's Wakrat) released a free, 15-track sampler to cap off 2016, but so too have management and PR company Incendia Music.
While the former easily proves more star-studded with tracks from the likes of Carcass, Clutch, Napalm Death, Morbid Angel and Danny Worsnop, the Incendia sampler is a fantastic spot to dig up more obscure gems of rock/metal acts, including Brutai (aka the band that always sneaks into these lists somehow), EMP!RE, The Raven Age and The Dreamer Within.
Either way, you can pick each of them up on their respective company's Bandcamp page for free (although, if you want to be a good person this Christmas and support underground rock n' roll, you can toss in just a little bit of cash). So what are you waiting for? Get ahold of some awesome new music while you can, dammit!
