12 Shocking Music Videos You Won't Believe Actually Exist

5. Oneohtrix Point Never - Still Life (Betamale)

Oneohtrix Point Never is the only artist on this list that hasn't charted, but that didn't prevent his 2013 collaboration with Jon Rafman Still Life (Betamale) from gaining a reputation for notoriety upon its release. It's so controversial, in fact, that YouTube banned the clip - something that can't be said of any others on this list. According to the press release, the experimental electronic musician's video "draws images from a range of online fetish sites, engaging with the theme of obsessive desire. The narrated version of the album track is immersed in the simultaneously captivating and disturbing world of internet subcultures." It certainly does that. There are shots of furries, hentai pornography, disgustingly filthy computer keyboards and a man wearing pink panties on his head while pointing two guns at his own temple. Regardless of the statement being made about the online world (and it is certainly a powerful video with stunning musical accompaniment) there is no doubt that Still Life (Betamale) does its utmost to shock and disturb the viewer. It's definitely worth a watch, if only because it may introduce you to several fetishistic subcultures that you never even knew existed... https://vimeo.com/75534042
