Gene Simmons of KISS is renowned for his huge tongue, which he flicks at audiences during shows. One myth that has followed him throughout his career is that he had a cow's tongue grafted onto the end of it to make it appear longer! While this has admittedly been disproven (apparently it's not scientifically possible! I mean, who believes science anyway, right?), one other mystery continues to circulate. The media has claimed many times that the entertaining bassist has slept with 4600 women. It sounds crazy, but it's persistent - and generally reported as fact. Jealous, much? To be fair, Gene himself has denied the myth. He claims that 4600 women is utterly ridiculous, and that he has in fact had sex with upwards of 4800 women. At least that debunks any rumours about his humility, anyway.
