We have learned now that jungle is also secretive and surprisingly elusive, at least in the case of the duo known as Jungle that is. With very little known about the pair, and their social media saying very little beyond the essentials bare essentials; their website's info section list press agents, tour management and that's about it really. Then again, what else is there to need to know beyond the music. In a modern musical climate where every detail of every artists is readily available for complete clinical scrutiny, isn't it nice to have a bit of mystique? Maybe not when you're trying to write about them, like I currently am, but let's talk music instead then; neo-soul, future garage, ambient funk meaningless terms? Maybe, but that's my job. The pair's music is spacious, soulful and trance like; where falsetto vocals, mellow jazz melodies, sparse production, funk subdued on sedatives, and a little bit of hip hop to boot.
