1. They're Weird As Hell...And We Wouldn't Have It Any Other Way
No matter what career trajectory the band takes from here on out, we fans can all rest assured that they're going to continue making the type of music that they want to make, regardless of what anyone else thinks. Because Coheed & Cambria is nothing if not true to their vision. That vision is usually pretty weird. What other semi-mainstream band would spend seven full albums fleshing out a sci-fi story that very few people could probably ever relate to on a personal level? And who else could then actually make it relatable?? Coheed being a weird band is like The Grateful Dead being a jam band: If you take that element away from them, what's left just isn't Coheed & Cambria. So keep doing what you're doing, fellas. Because we dig it.
