Chuck Ragan is somewhat of a legend on the punk rock scene. Actually, Chuck Ragan is more than somewhat of a legend on the punk rock scene, having been guitarist and lead singer for Hot Water Music. However, after the friendly termed disbanding of Hot Water Music in 2006, while the other members went on to form punk band The Draft, Chuck started heading down a different musical path as a singer songwriter and solo artist. As a solo artist, Chuck writes and performs American folk music, albeit folk music with a punk spirit and rock edge delivered with his gravelly but emotional vocals. Think of him as an American Frank Turner if you will, but older, gruffer, with a richer heritage in punk rock, a sometimes bigger and better beard, and I really mean it when I say gravelly voice. http://youtu.be/X3h3YssrLhc
