13 Thoughts You've Had If You've Ever Started A Band
2. Are We Good Enough To Record An Album Yet?
Let's get carried away.
One good set performing mainly covers and you realise it's time to really focus on your own sound and producing some cracking tunes that may or may not shoot straight to the top of the charts. That, or it will pave the way to a more successful second album, and those few people who bought the first one will be the proud owners of your first album, and they can be known as the "real fans, right from the start".
This is sometimes where the fights begin. A couple of your bandmates don't think you're ready, and another couple think it's time to push on. You fly into Father Ted preparing for Eurovision mode, screaming and swearing at them to just be better at their job. It doesn't go down well.
