14 Nostalgic Songs That Turn 14 In 2014

6. The Way You Love Me - Faith Hill

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o8EamHKpdrM Country artist Faith Hill broke into the mainstream with her 1999 album Breathe. I would've talked about the song "Breathe," but the single was technically released in 1999, but "The Way You Love Me" was nearly as popular as the latter and released in 2000. The great thing about "The Way You Love Me" and the rest of this album is that Hill stayed true to her country roots, unlike some country-pop crossovers (Taylor Swift). The song peaked at #7 on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 and spent several weeks on the Billboard Top Country Singles at #1. Faith Hill did pretty well for herself moving forward. She sang the opening for NFL Sunday Night Football for six years, she continues to chart on several country songs, and she is married to fellow country artist Tim McGraw. She has come along way since her first album debuted in 1993, 21 years ago.
