15 Bardcore Covers You Need To Listen To

9. Fortunate son - Creedence Clearwater Revival (A Medieval Cover)

The first cover on this list to feature actual lyrics, this is a fantastic cover of Fortunate Son. The original song itself is heavily associated with the Vietnam war, so it just goes to show how good this cover is that it actually works in a medieval setting. The_Miracle_Aligner should really be commended for not only singing the lyrics, but adapting them to fit the Bardcore aesthetic. User Marcus Aurelius also deserves credit for creating the original cover.

Alongside the brilliant song there is the art. One of the most detailed yet, it seems to be a tapestry of a medieval Vietnam war. The boat helicopter is great, but I'm a big fan of the hard to spot soldiers hidden in the treeline. For the next film that explores the horrors of medieval war, this song would be a perfect fit.
