14. Monster (My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J3af4Gz4Daw Best Line: "My presence is a present, kiss my ass" From one great collaborative effort to another, Monster showcases Kanye's improvements as a rapper as well as his continued growth as a producer. Most tracks on MBDTF hit you over the head with their beats, making you feel every pulse, but Monster is a little more restrained. Essentially taking a concept (being a monster) and letting a few rappers go wild with it, Monster will likely be forever linked to Nicki Minaj's insane verse. At the time Nicki Minaj just seemed like an insanely gifted up-and-coming MC, who would have thought that she would peak on a guest verse and never release anything like it again? Kanye shows that he's no slouch either, mixing self-deprecation with self-indulgence and showing off to his group of friends. It's a testament to Kanye once again that he allows his collaborators to take center stage, and Minaj owned the right to take the final verse, and Monster provides a valuable break from consistency in MBDTF.
