17 Things Only Alice Cooper Fans Will Understand

9. So Cool, In Fact, That He Named A Rock Supergroup After Them

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=flA69g5zepg That's right: the Hollywood Vampires inspired the Hollywood Vampires, who released their first record last year. Mostly covers, it features the principle membership of Cooper, actor Johnny Depp, and legendary Aerosmith guitarist Joe Perry... and a spoken word performance from the late, great Christopher Lee, recorded shortly before his passing. As if that wasn't enough, guest performers that have featured with the band include Slash, Duff McKagan and Matt Sorum from Guns N' Roses, Rage Against The Machine guitarist Tom Morello, Black Sabbath bassist Geezer Butler, Jane's Addiction singer Perry Farrell, Ringo Starr's son Zak Starkey, pop star Kesha, Marilyn Manson, Paul McCartney, The Doors guitarist Robby Krieger, the Eagles' Joe Walsh, Dave Grohl and AC/DC singer Brian Johnson. That's less a supergroup and more a small militia of chaotic, talented nutcases (and Paul McCartney). How wonderful.
