14. Animals As Leaders - "Arithmophobia"

The first track of its parent album The Madness of Many, Animals as Leader's "Arithmophobia" is the strongest opening track any instrumental record could ever hope for. Beginning with six repeated sitar notes that function as an eclectic alarm signalling the beginning of this proggy experience, The Madness of Many instantly establishes itself as avant-garde with an expectation-shattering beginning.

And things only get better as the single continues, giving way to more experimental rhythms and extensive solos than anyone could ever need.

Easily the best entry off of The Madness of Many, "Arithmophobia" could very well be Animals as Leaders' greatest achievement to date.
