17. Space Dimension Controller – Orange Melamine

Imagine the coolest 80's sci-fi movie soundtrack you've ever heard, and you're pretty close to the noise trappings of futuristic sound sculptor Space Dimension Controller.

This one man wrecking machine utilizes a variety of synthesizer-driven noise manipulations, all giving off vibes of a bygone era. He speeds up, slows down, traverses ground, inhabits planets and basically everything else along the way, placing the listener in a time capsule and blasting them off into the unknown through his otherworldly sonic textures.

His latest release Orange Melamine goes into hyperdrive on highlights such as the Blade Runner-inspired wormhole 'The Bad People', the zonked out tripper 'Volvo Estate' and the drum machine contortionist 'Gullfire.'

It's the DJ's first LP with record label Ninja Tune, and we're already excited for more of the same space bound exploration in the future...or past.
