As lauded as The Fugees are these days, either no one remembers or they simply don't know that the band were originally considered to be a flop. They released their first album, Blunted on Reality, didn't quite hit with critics or hip hop fans when it came out even though it was quite clear that Lauryn Hill, Pras Michel and Wyclef Jean were talented individuals. However, two years later, they released their sophmore effort, The Score, and suddenly the world took notice of the Haitian-American trio. Tracks like Ready or Not, Fu-Gee-La and their exquisite cover of Killing Me softly made them one of the most beloved hip hop groups ever. And let's not forget that they're one of the few rap groups who actually put on good live shows. However, The Fugees run at the top ended almost as quickly as it began as in-fighting between the members over has led to some very bitter feelings. Rumours of a reunion have always floated around, but until it actually happens fans will just have to settle with just one hip hop masterpiece. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aIXyKmElvv8
