If UGK were the originators of the southern hip hop movement, then OutKast were a by-product of their impact on that particular scene. As soon as Andre 3000 and Big Boi released their debut album Southernplayalisticadillacmuzik (Note to readers: Try and say that five times fast and I'll buy you a copy on iTunes), hip hop fans knew they had to hip hop in the south seriously because the then teenagers were real lyricists. They duo managed to mix in their southern twang with complex wordplay well above their years. As the group got older and their music matured, they incorporated different styles into their tunes but still crafting an incredible number of hit songs at the same time. Although It's highly unlikely we'll get another OutKast album in the future, the pair did have a successful tour last year and will hopefully do another one in the future so fans can see their best songs performed live once again. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pTso4MGednQ
