20 Greatest Songs That Said F*** You To Authority

2. The Times They Are A Changin' - Bob Dylan

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e7qQ6_RV4VQ One of Bob Dylan's most popular songs and one that is widely regarded as one of the all-time greats, The Times They Are a Changin' conveys quite a few messages in a relatively short space of time. For example, the second verse warns the authors, journalists and artists of the time to watch for change, to observe it and record it. He talks of sudden twists of fate and unexpected victories. The third verse relates to Vietnam, as Dylan is telling the politicians to wake up, open their eyes and understand what is happening - that people were dying and it could (and should) be prevented. The fourth verse is as wise as any and basically suggests people stop 'bitchin''. Simple, effective and always relevant. Prophet-like, the track claims that we should live for the now, change our ways, accept what has happened has happened, and progress. Easy, right?
