https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RvMxqcgBhWQ When Johnny Rotten, Sid Vicious et al launched their scathing attack on the Queen and 'her fascist regime' they caused a s*it storm large enough to level London itself. Released during Queen Elizabeth II's Silver Jubilee, the lyrics, along with the cover artwork, caused immediate controversy and yet the band's intention was simply to draw attention to the plight of the working man; actually signifying a love for their country as opposed to animosity. 'God Save the Queen' was banned by BBC (now there's a surprise) but it became a punk rock classic.
I love Heavy Metal, and generally anything that involves a guitar and loud noises, so I figured it was about time I put all the useless information in my head to good use and start writing a few things. Most of the time I'll be writing nonsense but occasionally I may surprise myself and appear half-way knowledgable.....but you can be the judge of that. Thanks for your fleeting attention!
